Silverchair and Mrs Daniel Johns

The Brixton gig was good, not amazing. Crap sound and only an hour and a quarter from a band that's just released their 5th album, that's just not good enough. More so for a band that doesn't tour often and barely ever plays anywhere other than London.
Set list was a good mix though and it was entertaining enough.

BUT the night was lifted after about 20 minutes when I realised that I was standing close to Daniel Johns wife, ie Natalie Imbruglia, possibly the most lovely lady on all of planet Earth.

I gawped quite a lot and went a bit schoolboy giddy. Lucky man that Johns.
Made my night anyway

what did the yplay?

i havnt seen them play live since like 1997 haha their set lists then consisted of jus the first 2 albums Rockin!!!

.

They played loads off the new album. Freak and The Door off Freakshow, none off Frogstomp (just as well), couple off Neon Ballroom including an amazing Emotion Sickness and only 1 off Diarama which we thought was a bit odd

you not like frogstomp?

2 off Diorama

the old stuff they played

sounded awesome

encore!

I had to make a swift exit after they went off stage as I had issues with my spleen/train times. What songs did they do in the encore? If i missed anything good I'm gonna throw rocks at my spleen.

.

hmm, encore was 2 songs I think. Last song was Freak

I met Nats when they played

Sheps Bush a few years ago, we had a brief chat, she was lovely indeed.

I saw them in Edinburgh last night

pretty much same set but we got 'Tuna In The Brine'

No 'Across The Night' though.

This made me a sad panda

ah man!

I was gutted that we got no Tuna in The Brine. Possibly my fave of theirs
