Animal Collective’s opinion-splitting, ever-shifting live show is to return to the UK and Ireland this October/November.
While July’s Coronet performance delivered no guitars and not an ounce from forthcoming masterstroke Strawberry Jam; it did act as a taster for some seriously fresh, and genuinely outstanding post-jam material.
With head-Animal Avey Tare recently voicing the Collective’s dedication to constructing a new set of material every month, as ever there will be dismissal, seduction and at least one guy desperately screaming “We Tigers!” over 8 exciting nights.

Dunno Oran Mor is gaining a rep as a pretty shitty venue because of the fights at the Low gigs on their last tour and the people chucked out during Cat Power. Yeah i said it fights at Low.
I was at low
and there was only one small scuffle. I fail to see what that has to do with the venue.
right enough though, last gig you'd expect that at.
Boo-urns!
Can't believe they've ignored Nottingham again. The boobs! It's party capital, like.
Oran Mor...
...is a well lovely venue.
