WINNER!
Artist of the Year in association with Packard Bell
Natasha Bedingfield
I just can't split them!
Can I also draw attention
...to the People's Choice awards (http://www.btdma.com/index.php/dma07/peoples_choice) and more specifically the Best Music Blog category. I mean, obviously, if you could *halo appears*, but last year the top ten was full of sites that were either major label puff pieces or failed on the 'being a blog' score.
who the heck are The Hoosiers?
they do that AWFUL
tippy toes song *shudder*
i have had this very same discussion...
with a young girl at work today. Then she got their song stuck in my head, and i countered with "stay another day" by East 17. It worked, and i won.
He he he
the Hawks View night...
.
who the fuck are slaves to gravity?
they used to be
the ga gas, apparently.
who?!
I'm so not down with da kidz anymore.
that picture
is the only evidence tom king was conscious at all that weekend.
the only...
good categories are the ones that DiS are nominated for? best indie band? Aren't all the nominees on MAJOR labels? or is that me just being cynical! LOL x
I know I'm slightly biased...
... but how can DiS NOT win this?
And can I come toooooo?!
i can't help but feel
like NME.com and 4radio will walk away with the awards. But i'd like DiS to.
LIL CHRIS FOR BEST POP ARTIST
!
I met him there last year.
Sean took a pic on his phone. That night is stuff of legend.
I really hope we're on the same table again this year.
Bare jokes. Jokes about bears.
I walked past an HMV and thought
one of the childrens mannequins wearing a wallet chain thing was lil chris.
Will he undergo a Lil Bow Wow esque reinvention and evolve into 'Chris' at some stage?
not HMV, H&M
silly me.
........
.... picture fun.
KodakFunCam Photographer Of The Year: Peter Barlow (yid)
enter history, they will say
yids were robbed
yids were robbed
low, fulham of hope
Interesting to see Stanton Warriors making the Urban
category....
Cool.
Best Breakthrough Artist?
Slaves To Gravity?
Who the bloody hell are Slates To Gravity? Worst breakthrough ever? Unless everyone else has heard of them and it's just me that hasn't. Ho hum.
as much as I want DiS to win the magazine thing...
Why isn't Popjustice in there? I mean, come on, it is bludey fantastic in every way.
Especially when this 'ResidentAdvisor.com'
appears to give me nothing but a link to a Monster jobs page?!?
it's resdident advisor.net
the chaps at BT are clearly buffoons. and it does a ratrher spiffy weekly podcast, which as far as I can see flies in the face of all licensing legislation but is still great....
of course I can't type. but there you go.
www.residentadvisor.net
Popjustice won best website at the Record of the Day do last December...
...which is the only other awards where the likes of us get recognised.
I guess organisers of this one were, like, we can't give them it AGAIN.
Although agreed: it's a spiffingly fun site.
