Can't remember what it's called, it's on Hackney road in Bethnal Green. It's really swish, has decent rates and you might bump into a celeb. Punchable celebs.

^^ I think you may be referring to

"The Premises" very tidy has a very good rep, highly recommended.

fortress

is in old street. I've been there a few times, they'r equite good.

They're a few around that way.

Enterprise in Denmark street is quite good if you do drift more ventral.

the premises

great place ... but not that cheap. don't know any others right now, been there for years ;-)

...

I thought it was pretty good value compared to other places I've used. Especially bearing in mind the facilities really are the best I've seen out of all the practice spaces I've used.

Being in Bethnal Green, it's also a piece of piss to get to from Stratford.

It looked massively overpriced to me when I was there

but I don't know what the facilities are.

Enterprise in Tottenham Ct. Rd. is £25 for four hours on a Saturday with two amps, bass amp and drum kit (and PA natch).

Vatican

in Bethnal Green used to be decent and cheap, though I haven't been there for years so I'm not sure what the score is nowadays. Easier for you to get to from Stratford as well.

musictek

in dagenham east (may be a bit too far for you ?) is okay. our band get discounts for booking two / three sessions in a row. they also have storage at £11 a week which saves lugging gear here, there and everywhere - although there may be a waiting list for this.
