Well

you'll be able to buy direct from Apple online, or in a store.

As regards Iphoto....on the bottom right of the page there is a slide icon that you drag to the right to enlarge your pics.

I would suggest

Ebay first as you'll get it much cheaper.

You need to find out what form you need the memory in

Currently your memory could be in two sticks of equal value or maybe one stick. This will determine what you're going to buy, I'd think.

Memory:

take it to the Applestore, they'll need to install it anyway, more trustworthy than independent dealers IMO.

Zooming in on iPhoto.
No idea. It's maybe my least favourite Appl(e)ication after iMovie, which is a crashing piece of turd.

You can crop

do you have the new version of iphoto aka, ilife?

memory from

www.crucial.com/uk/

if you want to zoom in on a photo use the slider on the bottom right of the interface...

Thanks

I need two memory thingies. The memory from Crucial is waaay cheaper than from Apple. Cheapness or trustworthiness - I don't know.

I'm trying to use that zoom thing and it just makes it go back to the thumbnail page and zooms in on those instead! Hmm...

Apple massively overcharge for RAM

Just do it yourself with Crucial's RAM. John's the only Apple user I've ever heard suggesting you should get Apple to do the memory upgrade.

it's SO-DIMM

erm, don't get anyone to do it for you. if you still have the manual/documentation for your MB then i think they provide instructions on changing it. so it MUST be easy.

It's not hard to install the memory

do it yourself.
