Remixes: things on the b-side of shitty singles, and also the title of Soulwax's forthcoming double album. Awesome: what it'll be, actually.
Released on October 22, the double-disc set includes offerings - reworked, obviously - from the likes of Hot Chip, Daft Punk, The Gossip and Muse. Get those four in a room and you've a party.

Soulwax are to perform Remixes live - presumably this means they'll just be DJing? - at a series of Radio Soulwax shows. Announcement on that to follow...
Is all the (Soulwax Remix)s
Actually necessary? It's a Soulwax remix CD.
Any chance of Soulwax...
releasing their own material some time soon?
More money in the dance thing, innit
A straight Soulwax album would be followed by average album sales and a couple of mid-venue tours, whereas this Nite Versions/2manyDJs shizzle means that they can follow up any release with about two years worth of high profile DJ gigs
This album looks kinda sucky. Most of those release have been around yonks, and the kind of people that would be into them will have had them for aaaaaaaaaages
^ iagree that these have been around for ages and i know most of them
but about 80% of this are bloody brilliant, and i suppose it'd be good to have them all on one disc
be interesting to hear them live tho. i've seen nite versions live a couple of times and altho it's been great, they've been milking that for ages now. i want to hear something new!
agreed
As much as i love the nite versions stuff and although the remixes are fantastic, i will probably buy this though, just to have them all on one album.
It would be great to see soulwax come back with another more rock-y album, and ive yet to see them live playing the more indie stuff, whereas ive seen nite versions twice.
Lets hope they will do another traditional soulwax album soon.
Release a proper Soulwax LP with guitars you cunts!
Agreed
but also the above compilation will be brilliant.
Another Soulwax story, another opportunity to repeat the "I was in the Any Minute Now video" anecdote...
It'll be worth
the entrance fee for the Klaxons and Justice remixes alone. The Klaxons because it's essentially Soulwax saying "that's cute, kids. But really, here's how it's done" and Justice because, well. It's just even more immense.
Shame I have most everything on the album already though.
Damn
I've just realised that by buying this, I will be donating a small amount of money to Robbie Williams.
