This is a news report which isn't actually saying anything at all, and uses the Daily Express as a "source". I think it's unlikely we're going to hear more about this.
then i think it's morally bankrupt in the extreme, little more than a cynical tapping the public's emotional investment in the situation. Particularly at this stage of the case
and why on earth wouldn't they want to tap into the public's emotional investment? i don't see much wrong with that - why shouldn't they make a film about something people care about?
but yes, at this stage in the case it seems premature. and teh story seems bogus - i don't see any hollywood star attaching themselves to a picture when they don't know if their character will be cast as victim or villain or indeed how teh plot will play out
because it's cynical and uncaring and immoral - but that's how i'd describe the press coverage. In fact, "fucking disgusting" doesn't quite cover my feelings about the press' involvement. And adding another chapter to the whole saga just leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth
except for this
1) lots doctors leave very young children alone to go off and have a good time.
2) one of the children went missing
3) lots of people have talked a lot about it
Really that is all the facts that I feel I can be certain about......am I missing something? you can make that into a film? well I suppose sophia coppola could
I can't stand the fact she's always being posted into wholesome all-American munchkin roles when she clearly should be in every Japanese horror remake ever
Um
This is a news report which isn't actually saying anything at all, and uses the Daily Express as a "source". I think it's unlikely we're going to hear more about this.
tht's pretty fucking disgusting
shamefully cashing in on the mass hysteria, a sort of focus group "hey, people actually care about this shit - i want in" attitude
i don't think it's disgusting
it's a major story, one that a lot of people feel an emotional connection with. of course films will be made about it.
however the story is still playing out so it seems a bit silly to be planning a film already. the story you linked to seems bollocks though
if the claim is true
then i think it's morally bankrupt in the extreme, little more than a cynical tapping the public's emotional investment in the situation. Particularly at this stage of the case
of course it's cynical. but not as cynical as all the press coverage of the last few months
and why on earth wouldn't they want to tap into the public's emotional investment? i don't see much wrong with that - why shouldn't they make a film about something people care about?
but yes, at this stage in the case it seems premature. and teh story seems bogus - i don't see any hollywood star attaching themselves to a picture when they don't know if their character will be cast as victim or villain or indeed how teh plot will play out
in my opinion they shouldn't
because it's cynical and uncaring and immoral - but that's how i'd describe the press coverage. In fact, "fucking disgusting" doesn't quite cover my feelings about the press' involvement. And adding another chapter to the whole saga just leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth
Its got to be
a joke
thought Ben Affleck did something similar but it got shelved for being too maddie-esque
why would this shit be allowed ?
it isn't
if ben affleck had something to do with it you need to go to the police.
maddy is still missing and you are sitting on evidence.
I'm pretty sure that's a hoax
1) its insensitive
2) it would be a shit movie
3) it would have no ending.
if its made in america.
they'd find her.
is that how World Trade Center ended?
"here come the transformers to put together the twin towers again! yeah!"
Yeah but americans knew what happened.
Most Americans have no idea where portugal is.
I don't know whether you just ruined the ending of World Trade Centre,
Transformers, or both
2. Didn't that A Dingo Ate My Baby film win an oiscar or something?
...

It's pretty much been
a movie for four months already. A bit like Return of the King, I just wish it would end.
except there is no plot
except for this
1) lots doctors leave very young children alone to go off and have a good time.
2) one of the children went missing
3) lots of people have talked a lot about it
Really that is all the facts that I feel I can be certain about......am I missing something? you can make that into a film? well I suppose sophia coppola could
they should make it a highly quoteable teen based comedy.
Madeline Dynamite!
"This is the worst tradgedy to ever hit the UK"
"Like anyone can even know that"
"I caught you a delicious tiny child"
"You're just jealous that i've been uploading pictures of you naked alll day"
"I caught you a delicious tiny child"
Lovely stuff
"do pedophiles have large penii?"
I lolled really hard there.
My post of the day
oh I don't know
I wouldn't mind watching Russell Crowe laying the smackdown on Robert Murat
Or the remains of Dakota Fanning being dredged from a lake
i like dakota fanning
she's a terrific actress.
she's really bizarre though - there's something very unnerving about her seriousness, focus and intelligence
she's scares the shit out of me
I can't stand the fact she's always being posted into wholesome all-American munchkin roles when she clearly should be in every Japanese horror remake ever
has Groundhog come out yet?
that will be weird to watch
*Hounddog even
though a Bill murray twist would be quite interesting
anyone else dig the theory
that she's actually a really well-preserved thirty-year-old?
Steve Buscemi
would be perfect for Murat I reckon
