they should stick to just having two ATP's - one in Spring and one for Christmas. It gets expensive and getting time off work can be hard, plus too much patying is bad for my health! ;-)
It was great when there was just the one a year and the anticipation was so much better having to wait a whole year for the trek to camber, not to mention being able to save up for the next one!
I still haven't bought my Christmas tickets yet!

3 ATPs a year
is way too much. I only get 22 days holiday from work a year and a festival normally requires me to use a minimum of 2 of these days.
What I'm saying is that I can only afford (both financially and holiday-ey) to go to 3 festivals a year.
I get quite upset when I read about all the ATPs I can't go to.

3 atp's is too much! i really want to go to everyone but each one does cost about £500-£600 inc travel and spending..... so its not so much the days off-although 6 days of your holiday is quite a portion of my 19 days!-its just very expensive.

I've never been to an ATP before, but a Pitchfork currated one may interest me. How quickly would the chalets (maybe just a 1 bed one, unless we find extra friends) likely sell out?

a year is GREAT! Fair do's its lame if you aint got any money...I'm now a mature student so shall be fucked but I'll be damned if I'd wish to deprive all the bastards that do get wages and holiday such joy!
Lets just pray one of those fuckers will take pity on an old ATP veteran and sneak them into their pocket!
And honestly it doesn't have to cost much - once the ticket is paid for (and maybe travel, depends where you're coming from) those are the major expense - stock up on booze and get some budget bread and pasta or something (you ain't gonna be going gourmet lets face it) - food you can make yourself quick- and you'll be fine. If you're pissed when you leave the chalet you'll have no probs.
A hip flask concealed in a boot don't hurt either..well the next morning it does but hey - go for a swim.

I think there should be a few more.
Previous ATPs at Camber had about 36 bands I think. Maybe Pitchfork are waiting to see who's likely to be flavour of the month in May?

I was really disappointed with Black Mountain
when they played the Mudhoney ATP. If there ever were a band that didn't live up visually to the sound they make on record it's them. Maybe they were having a bad day.
Harmonia though. Lucky b'stards. I would be happy to go to this, although I have tickets for the other one.
