anyone go see 'em last night? Jesus that was an incredible gig. I'd only heard a few songs before that but i'm definitely gonna get the new album now, i was totally blown away.

The support act White Magic were one of the worst things i've ever heard, however.

Yeah i had to go outside while White Magic were on due to the heat... and the music. I can't believe they took so long to come on though i thought i was gonna collapse from dehydration waiting for their guitarist to find his guitar

I really wanted to go to this, but I saw Sleater-Kinney in the Barfly instead ;)

i'm annoyed that it was good, I feel I really missed something now, fucking amazing band that GGD are.

Yeah definitely. I've never really been much of a Sleater Kinney fan to be honest so it wasn't really a choice for me! Gosh they were great though you should definitely see 'em next time they're over. Their singer looks a little like a Bollywood Kate Bush!

They seemed potentially interesting at ATP but their sound was really awful, booming droney bass drowning out any clarity in the high-end. Was a bit hard to tell whether this was delibarate or not.

I'm off to see GGD in Notts on Friday with Vibracathedral Orchestra. I'm VERY excited. Especially as I'm seeing Isis tomorrow night too. Woohoo!

Saw them supporting James Chance on monday, thought they were amazing, and were somewhat more relaxed than their brighton gig last year. Their self titled album from last year has probably the most brillantly weird ending to any album.
