1. There are no contact telephone numbers for problems with orders, everything is email only.
2. Currency convertOr? Radiohead can't afford to pay someone to proof-read their site?
3. Once you get to the 'pay' on digital download and put in, say a tenner, there are no options to get out of that payment page. No 'home' no 'change order'.
So, am not convinced it's real.

Whether or not the music is pioneering this time round, we'll have to wait and see, though from what i've heard live they seem to have, ironically, gone "a bit coldplay". Hopefully they'll have rectified that in the studio.

I don't think Radiohead did this! There's still plenty of nice packaging etc etc etc that make lots of albums worth buying. People are just greeeedy now. Think how many people are going to pay £0 for the download compared to the number of people who will pay any money at all for anything. It's sort of sad. But anyway that's the fault of the people, not Radiohead with their nice box and hopefully non-sucky album.

box set which has 2 vinyls, a cd (with more songs), photos and a HARDBACK book, yadda, yadda.
The point is, if you want just the music, pay as much or as little as you want. If you want something special then the option is there but it's not being forced onto you.
I love this SO MUCH. They've cut out all of the dying music industry. The labels, the retail market, Tescos and the fucking like. This really is how it should be done. Let the band reap all the rewards of their hard work, not a percentage cut.

what I assume they've done is that they haven't started the production of the vinyls and CDs yet, meaning that they can release it digitally now instead of it being inevitably leaked during the pressing proceedure. Hence why the physical thing will take a few months.
