true story!

It's amazing. Hope they haven't put all their best songs on the same EP and haven't left anything for the album, but I have every confidence that will be awesome when it comes too.

When's

it out? or can anyone help me acquire it? They're so so good!

it's not out until the 26th November

I have a promo, but I think most of the songs are on their demo in various forms.

but the new recordings are so much better!

if you have a legit reason to get a demo, then I'm sure you could get one pretty easily!

i meant a promo not a demo

but you should get the demo too if you dont have it. You can download it from somewhere or other...

it's on their Myspace I believe

that's ace too - but this surpasses it.

i don't think

i ever got a demo from them :-(

unless it's languishing in that box alongside demos from bloc party, forward russia and prinzhorn dance school ;-)

see, what do i know anyway!

..

dude they have loads of songs saved for the album.. our bipolar friends, sometimes in the bullring, your all just jealous, bob fairfoull, anet mook.

loads.

Along with William and Favours for Sailors.

I was supposed to be seeing them in Cambridge last night

but couldn't get there at the last minute. Listening to this again lots today and it's still a 10/10 f'sure

I wondered where you were

Agreed about the demo, I heard the promo and it's super super super, everyone should buy the demo, especially for the artwork (the tunes rock, I'm just saying why people should buy the real life music)

aha did you get the pop-up or standard promo

there like a limited number that have popup artwork inside...

i wont tell you whats on it though! Dont want to spoil the suprise!!

:D

I was talking to you about pop-up ness

in cambridge last week after meneguar.

The perks of having mates wiv connections. (I'd like to add I got a listen, not a promo to take away myself so I'll still be paying dollarz when it come out like a good child)

ah

i wasnt in cambridge unfortunately (ha yes. geeky to the point everyone just talks about pop ups 24/7)

Ill probably get a free one no doubt..i cant wait to actually go buy a copy. from a shop. in person. argh.

oops

and there I was thinking I was being all clever

i love

the end and everything after, but cant seem to get to the lyrics from their myspace page?

the end and eerything after lyrics for eraseallthemaps...

i guess the barstaff see this every night. they're turning tables putting candles out, careless and tired. and all dramas are unstarted; came for the money, stayed for the community. and now the funds are tight and now we chose our sides. we make the same mistakes our friends might. we're floating streamers down down off balconies, scattered arcs across the city makes a new body cold. how you dont stop believing in the band because the band stopped believing in the band. careless hands and one night stands, where everything stands we were made of plans. backdrops set to falling stars does not describe what you are and god knows what you think of us. i'm losing ground to future ghosts, i know that we're good and i know that i'm close but god knows what you think of us. now we sleep crooked if we sleep at all. we squeeze our bodies into spaces when the spaces are full. yr blisters from our shattered arcs across the city, make a new body. now the pressures on and i still sleep alone. we barely notice when our friends are gone. we're lighting cigarettes to pass the time, coward dazed by the money, trapped by community. last hit for sure, once was enough. oh careless hands we were made of plans. fake reports of faulty heart does not describe what you were and god knows what you'd think of us. once was enough.

..

amazing lyrics!!

I saw them at Buffalo Bar

They were cool.

Anyone care to share it with me?

I have shared plenty with DiS, so payback is surely due!

They're playing

The Alcopop! birthday party on Mon 22nd Oct at The Social in London with Data.Select.Party and Dave House

And their track 'Cranes And Cranes And Cranes And Cranes' is on the upcoming Alcopop! compilation tape, along with Dartz, Jeremy Warmsley, Sam Isaac, Sky Larkin and about 10 more

How's that for an ad?

The mini-album

The mini-album is incredible! Definite 10/10. It was so good I've legally changed my name to 'John Foreigner'.
Also, there is a hidden track at the end. Not sure what the name is, but it's a little acoustic number that shows a different side of the band.
Brilliant!

aha

john foreigner..your a funny guy/girl/undefined gender

^this

How have I not been arsed about listening to them before? This is great.

22nd gig - and Twist

For that gig in London on the 22nd... How much is it man? Is it tickets and that or pay on the door? I haven't seen Dave House for ages doing a solo set so I'll probably swing by.

Not heard the new JF EP yet, but was really enjoying the stuff a while ago. The girl in the band used to be in Twist too didn't she?
