This Saturday, October 13, London indie club Silver Rocket marks its 100th gig with a special all-day do at the capital's ICU venue (next to the Albert Hall, innit). DiS has FIVE pairs of tickets to give away to the event, and winners will also pick up a copy of SR's new compilation CD, SR100.

The all-day show starts at 3pm and features the following line-up:

3hostwomexicansandatinofspanners
Big Joan
Cove
Charlottefield (pictured)
Future Corpses
Joeyfat
Lords
Meet Me In St Louis
Silent Front
Twinkie
Underground Railroad

Plus DJs from Silver Rocket (d'uh), DiS and more...

Regular tickets for the show are available now for £8 advance - visit wegottickets.com - but if you fancy your chances of winning a pair, plus a copy of that three-disc comp featuring a wealth of Silver Rocket-playing acts, just answer this question:

What band - also playing this 100th show special - has played Silver Rocket the most times over the past however many years?
A) Cove
B) Big Joan
C) Meet Me In St Louis

Clues, they can be found at the Silver Rocket website, here. Send your answer to COMPETITION CLOSED ASAP, writing 'Silver Rocket' in the subject line and including a contact telephone number. Winners will be contacted on Friday, October 12.

i really want to go to this

especially seeing as its an actually decent gig on at MY UNION!?

but it looks like i'll be moving in to my new flat on saturday, and also trying to watch the football and rugby games in between that.

Still might try and squeeze it all in though, as the bar next door to the 'venue' where the gig is will almost certainly have the sports on...

any word on who is playing when yet, or is that still to be decided?

LAME more like

i want to know if i can plan my day around moving in and watching Manly Sports and still ensure i don't miss MMISL!

Ah well...

...if you want to put manly sports over music then I don't have much sympathy!

The line-up randomisation is because how on earth else am I supposed to pick a headliner out of the 8+ headline bands playing? Hmm?

We will be picking bands 2 bands in advance so there'll be a good hour and a half's notice (except right at the start I guess when there'll only be an hour's notice) if you want to pop in from the bar and see.

Bands won't atart till 2 if that's any help with the moving house thing.
