There are more exciting things for me to bring to your attention today than the new touring schedules of three acts whose output could and should be described as mediocre at best.
So, I’ve lumped them in together, like hacking smirters out in the November cold. Enter Shikari first – who are going over to the US before the year’s out:
November
30 Portland Satyricon
December
1 Vancouver Canada - Plaza Club
2 Seattle Chop Suey
4 San Francisco Bottom Of The Hill
5 Los Angeles Troubadour
6t Anaheim Chain Reaction
7 San Diego Soma
One down, two to go – wailing melodramatists Paramore are next chronologically, so let’s get these out of the way. In the UK:
January
29 Manchester Apollo
February
1 London Brixton Academy
4 Birmingham Carling Academy
6 Bristol Carling Academy
8 Portsmouth Guildhall
9 Nottingham Rock City
10 Glasgow Academy
12 Newcastle Academy
13 Leicester De Montfort Hall
Support comes from the ever-fecund New Found Glory.
As the rubbish truck indicates to take the last left before pulling back into the landfill yard, it makes sense to bring you news of a joyous homecoming. The Enemy, of Coventry, have followed the lead of Leeds’ the Pigeon Detectives by announcing a gig at the 8,000 capacity Ricoh Arena.
March
19 Manchester Apollo
22 Dundee Caird Hall
23 Edinburgh Corn Exchange
24 Glasgow Academy
28 London Astoria
29 London Astoria
April
5 Coventry Ricoh Arena
Ends…

oh god
i've seen enter shikari live (not by choice though).
how much indie cred do i lose? :(
400000000000000000 points
shit :(
Why?
They are good live.
Everywhere is saying they're playing
at the Arena.
It's hugely misleading. They're playing at the indoor concert venue on the site, rather than the actual Arena.
New Found Glory supporting Paramore?
I remember loving NFG when I was 15, I thought they'd remained fairly popular. How is this possible?
Good to see the enemy haven't become completely massive
and are still only playing the likes of the astoria and not Brixton/Alexandra Palace although Ricoh is pretty huge.
gah!
if they were in the same place at the same time think of all the ammo we'd save, damn you DiS...
Two Astoria nights =
one Brixton night.
enter shikari
ok, i can see why some may haveno time for this band, but honestly, i was at reading, and saw them during the week at brixton and they were fucking quality. no, there not the best band in thhe world, they will prob die after thier second lp, but in the moment, playing loud to a high spirited audiendce, they were bloody fantastic. suberb. at least the balls to get a crowd going, and clearly all they want is to fucking have it! hats off.
if
you genuinely hated em, you wouldnt even mention them
lmao @ the title of the story.
Made me lolololol.
I like Kev Khavras now.
