i fucking hate you as well

some people arent too excited cos they used the power of the internet to watch it

quite good parrently

the internet?

but it's a tv show!

this age in which we live is baffling.

television:

images from afar

your computer IS a television

only people that went to public school

or oxbridge know things like that.

im gonna teach EVERY1 things like that cos it's only fair.

its not technically true, really

as television is a ridiculous latin/greek hybrid word made up only for the talking picture box

fuck, no

i think this is a bag o' shite :(

If you go to the Radio One website

You can 'listen again' to a one hour segment of the Colin Murray show, including interviews with the two of them, a 20 minute documentary and some tracks off Julian Barrett's iPod

Worth a listen if you're into la Boosh

rad

but then i have to tolerate murray. ew.

i fell

asleep watching this unimaginative dirge. I saw one of the plonkers in Fopp (tott Court Rd. I thought to oneself: I hate yr show

I've never really majorly got into Boosh

there's something about it which is a bit annoying..

ive seen the first two episodes now

the first was good, the second is really good i thought.

i love

old stuff like:
the day today
alan partridge
The Office
and phoenix nights top stuff!

Yes we get it

you don't like the mighty boosh

None of that is

'old' now, is it?

oi

Where'd you see the second episode, you sly lothario?

my friend downloaded it

yesterday night, it was on rapidshare i think but not too sure where the actual link for it was. I shall try to find out for you, you 'insert equally nice description'.

My god!

I had no idea, don't live the UK anymore so I will have to get a torrent. What channel and time, please?

you can watch the first episode via the bb3 website now

so thats sorted for the first one...

thanks

Hope its not one of those non-UK-IP's not allowed jobs.

the new show?

or generally?

generally

Yeah

I just watched this with my mates, never really seen it before but it's shite.

Im old greeeeeg

he has a mangina, watch that and the milky joe episode and say the same thing & I would be amazed.

Wicked!

Took me ages to get into, happily I did eventually get into it!

I'm excited

I hated it for ages, probably irrationally as I despised it for being more popular than the infinitely superior Darkplace, but I learned to put that behind me and appreciate how good it is.

i despised it irrationally too

mostly cos i felt left out and have never rly liked tv before.

resisted the urge to download them...

and have been impressed by the four clips I watched on BBC3's website.

Tomorrow night will be excellent. Buzzcocks at 9pm, Entourage at 10pm, Boosh at 10.30. THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

hell yes !

tonite

is top telly. Bill oddie AND alan titchmarsh!!!

Roll on tomorrow

Simon Amstell is very cute too.

but he bats for the australians

(i.e. the other side)

I Know

Don't worry I'd soon cure him
:)

(That joke copyright GG)

which Entourage?

seen em all now i believe! I wish i was that celebtastic

itv2 are showing season 3...

about 8-9 episodes in now. I fucking love it.

i'm up to speed with the states

shame latest season is only 12 episodes long

i fucking love Entourage

Entourage is amazing.

i was first introduced it by an American on a cruise ship, we watched it on his portable DVD player and then went on to watch every episode. excellent.

Seen it...

NEXT

did anyone

hear Boosh's two live tracks on the live lounge today.
so so good!

I am frightened

of Noel Fielding. His chin, his teeth, his hair...all of it! *shudder*

i watched the first episode on youtube

they seem to be concentrating on namedropping shoreditch/east london every couple of minutes.
and they re used the same characters and jokes.

i wasn't that impressed if i'm honest.

maybe the rest of the series will be better

^

I hope the rest of the series is better

I saw the Horrors clip...

and it made me do a big fat LOL.

'picnic in a graveyard'

whats so LOL y about that

I used to picnic in a graveyard

Abney Park cemetery. Its lovely.

I used to spend a lot of time in there.

i got so excited earlier i had to claim a radio to hear it

and i lolled i lolled a lot. I am SOOOOOO excited about the new series. I even chose not to watch it online just so i can enjoy actually sitting down infront of the tv tonight. though i will have to sky plus it so i can have a smoke before hand :D:D

Tonight is great.

2100: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
2130: Lead Balloon
2200: Entourage
2230: The Mighty Boosh

Oh joy!

Thought they had

some sort of deal with the NME due to all the product placement in tonight's show, turns out they're editing it next week.

That was relievingly better than I

thought it would be.

The main story wasn't

very funny at all.

Fortunately, the Tony Harrison/shamen stag do was incredible.

and every wanky student

will be singing the shaman stag song tomorrow.

Kill me now.

Much better then alot of people made it out to be

was a bit skewif in places but it was pretty good and the electro song was, as usual, funny. The stag do was great too, the next episode looks hallarious though.

THEY LIFTED ABOUT 20% OF THAT PROGRAM FROM THE LAST TWO SERIES???

And no one seems bothered by this. That was the weakest boosh episode ever.

Yes it wasnt full strength

but it was a lot better than I expected. Especially after seeing the advert I wasnt goiing to bother watching it.

It was a bit wierd and disjointed to begin with but it go there in the end, and the song was bloody hilarious, even if every schoolgirl up and down the country will be singing it this morning.

Over all it was better than I expected.

I quite enjoyed it

Although the fact that the line about Patrick Moore shitting on some salad was what made me laugh the most may say something about my level of humour.

It was good (just about)

the shamen stag do was incredible, as was the first 5 minutes. The whole 'tagging a pop star' bit was so cringeworthy it was unbelievable.

i laughed a lot

ok i was a bit drinked and a bit smoked, but it was funny, there are weak bits in most booshes, but they never spoil it, and i thought that last night was no difference,

i laughed a lot

Tony Harrison completes me.

episode 2

and its inner space motif is quite good, better than the first episode.

I've never seen it

Rubbish or not I feel like I should at least give it a try

I thought it was hilarious

better than a lot of the second series. The original 'eels' song and the shaman stag do were amazing.

i watched it with a bunch

of people who were really looking forward to it, so that was really fun, but the whole thing seemed a lot like when you have a film of a tv show - massive anticipation, then a high budget version of it, shoehorning in characters for the sake of it, a few good bits and a terrible ending.

still enjoyed it tho

twas good, i laughed

but like rich said, the overmentioning of shoreditch/nme/blah blah grated a bit.

however i did fall asleep halfway through

yeah i agree

though they used to go on about camden instead.

^ good point

did they?

well for an obvious example

camden leisure pirates

//////////

the "bits of the past mixed with the future making something as good as neither" was a good bit of self deprecation.

vince is just Noel now with his trendy north london mates. bring back vince...or at least get guy mcknight in an episode.

i'm reserving judgement

it seems incredibly londoncentric, I watched it with my brother who is my loyal boosh fan and he didn't get half the references so I had to keep explaining which kind of killed it and usually ended in 'oh'.

tony harrison and the shamans was a welcome addition. they seemed to clean up the hitcher though.

I think it will get better, as it had moments of pure genius.

its gonna looks

so dated in a few years. pretty funny for the moment though

i was subjected to some of the first

series by some friends about a year or so ago, and that was horribly dated then.

I love Howard Moon

Vince Noir, less so.
Naboo, not at all - he can't act.
The moon is getting a bit old.
Still, an acceptably good episode although I will be hoping that series improves.

Anyone who hasn't listened to their radio show should (it's on bbc7 now). I think it's possibly better than any of their TV stuff.

Naboo is supposed not to be able to act!

that's one of my favourite things about the Boosh.

i love naboo

he's meant to be useless in that way

Yeah, I know he;s meant to be really wooden

and that's funny because he's a mystical shmaen, but it's never even made me chuckle. He seems to get some good lines and suck the humour from them with his artless delivery.

the moon still cracked me up...

When you are the moon, there is a person people say is the sun. I saw the sun once, and he came past me, really fast. And it was an, it was called, the, an eclipse. And he came fast! But as he came past, I, I licked his back.

Mighty

Was watching it last night - fucking love this show, also Never Mind was really good last night....Kimberly Stewart lol

I thought it was alright.

But Fulcher rescued it again with his Hellooooooooooooooooo character.
Bob Fossil is back in this series as well apparently.

a mixture of good and bad

the nu-rave jokes wouldve been funnier a year ago....

Yeah, not their best by any means

but next week's looks much better.

last nights was the worst episode

of any series.
recycled jokes and characters, vince noir descending ever further into a parody of his former self and 'hip' indie references that'll be horribly dated before this time next year.

hope the rest of the series is more inventive.

Thinking back, the first episode of series 2 was the shittest.

Can't remember which was the first for series 1. Tundra? Tundra was amazing.

no it was killaroo

also not the best of that series...

agreed - worst in the bunch.

Conclusion?

Mighty Boosh Series: Not to be judge by their first episodes.

ive seen the second

its really good. was a bit dissapointted by the first, i still liked it, but wasnt amazed.

I just wastched episode two

I think its much better than 'eels'.

true dat
