=======================
Dear John

two neal casal songs but they provided convenient opportunities to take a piss.

2:40 rough setlist, on just before 8:30 and off just after 11. RATHER good anyway, i though. kinda wish it hadn't been a seated show, but whateverrrr. approx 17 times better than the Koko show, f'sure.

Did he whisper Bartering Lines?

And I'm jealous about:

Wild Flowers
Goodnight Hollywood Blvd
I See Monsters

But not that much actually, because they'll have been Cardinalsified.

the band version of I See Monsters

is incredible.
it sounds just like Champagne Supernova. truth.

The Cardinals spoil him

I miss the Ryan Adams Comedy Show

that's probably more

because he doesn't drink anymore...

Ryan Adams@Apollo

Rather good? I must be fairly uncritical, I thought the whole show was brilliant, even from row Z upstairs. Marred by all those wankers who were still arriving in droves well into the fifth number, and who then kept getting up get beer, and then out to the bog....

Back on form.

Seconded.

Amazing show and a turbo setlist.

Loved the seating (was downstairs mind), and crowd was the most respectful I've seen at his shows as in no shout outs between songs etc.

Need a solo tour soon though, the stand up was missed.

Sounds like a hugely succesful tour

Oh and in cardiff we got the stand up as well as the good music.

Didnt he strop off in Manchester though?

there were people shouting out for things

some guy a few rows in front of me kept hollering "TO BE YOUNG!" for a big part of the set.

at one point someone else replied with "TO BE OLD!", quickly followed by somebody else with "TO BE MIDDLE AGED!"
:D
