Hotmail?

Is anyone having problems logging into their hotmail accounts? I've not been able to get in for days and it's starting to bug me now.

I enter my details and it either loads to an empty page or the 'connection times out'.

Outlook Express can't access my hotmail inbox either, or send via my hotmail address.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

I'd e-mail the technical support team, but obviously that's not really possible.

Computers are rubbish, the internet is pointless, it was better before either of them were invented!

Nah, mine's fine.
Although, they did force me to sign some agreement the other day.
I tried to press cancel, but i couldn't access my messages if not. Of course i didn't read the T's and C's, so did anyone else get this and actually read the thing?

I didn't agree to that, whatever it was, I usually access my messages via Outlook Express so I got around it that way.
Maybe they're punishing me?

hmmm, havent had that. Are you a .com address by any chance? As im on a .co.uk address these days, may have something to do with it.

When I used to always access Hotmail via IE I had sporadic problems like that. Now that I use firefox it doesn't seem to happen as much/at all, which is weird. It may be worth using firefox if you don't already do so....

every so often, outlook express makes you verify your account, you should have one email in there with a link to log in, then you have to type in some numbers that you see on screen, and then it should be fine

I'm using firefox, and there's no email verification thingy. All I keep getting is....

It's the server not able to handle the pace of communication.

It's likely to be your ISP. I use Virgin and it's crap.

What can I do about that then? Contact my ISP and give them a rollocking or admit defeat and stop using emails?

Sounds like hotmail's servers are playing up. Unlikely to have anything to do with your ISP, unless your web access is down in general.

Try put the error message into google.
Often turns up other people with the same problem.

Try to access your hotmail account from Microsoft's website.
