Secondly, I read in the Times today (I hadn't heard of her before this) that she now holds the record for the fastest selling UK album ever, faster than Arc Monk's album (can't even remember if it was their first or second).
Isn't all this reality TV shit getting a bit out of hand now? I mean, really, how good is her album really going to be? Shit, that's how.

I really like her. Well. I really like ONE of her songs and I bet all of you people will guess which one as this is the only one that IS publicised on TV.

She's a good singer in a Mariah Carey sense.
Hits the notes really well sometimes at the expense of character or emotion. Suspect she is one of these people with singing talent but no real personality/character/creativity so it comes down to the team they get working with her...

Ok ok lets think about this.
well I think she has a really good voice.
but her song "Keep Bleeding" or whatever it's called is a bit repetitive as "Keep Bleeding" is repeated over and over again. however it's a really good song and catchy too.
I'd give her a 6 out of 10.
1 being awful
and
10 being totally amazing
because I have never heard any of her other songs.
p.s. if you didn't know she's from the "X-Factor".
In fairness they seem to have really put the work in her
in terms of not rushing out an album straight away and spending a year getting songs together, developing her image etc.
They're trying to launch her as a new Mariah Carey/Whitney Houston so it's not gonna be the kind of thing I'd buy but I'm sure they've put the time and expense into hiring the people to try to make it as good as it can be in terms of what it is, if that makes sense.
