R.E.M have gotten up to, especially with them rehearsing older IRS songs at their Dublin shows a few months back. It can't be AS bad as Around The Sun can it?

Also: Jaguar War, though I have the feeling that I might still feel bitter about the Blood Bros split by then and let that cloud my judgement.

I think I read that Esiotrot want to head into the studio to record their full length. Mogwai's new one is going to drop soon, too. Yadda, yadda...

what is the fuss about Pete and the Pirates? I played a gig with them this one time and they were awfully bland, not just musically but as people. I hear they are getting quite big now or something.
