"This is Mark Wallinger's Sleeper - a recording of 10 nights he spent alone in Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie dressed in a bear suit."

it all looks too awful

as usual, i really dont want to get drawn by the turner prize again......what is the point of this elitism? when the 'quality' is entirely a subjective thing?

...

If this is Turner Prize worthy, then there are a million winners in Soho:

Have you even been to the show?

Judging an installation consisting of three rooms by a 220x300 pixel photo might be considered a bit silly.
Especially when you cant even see what's through the hole..
It's actually my favourite piece, the bear comes in close second though

..

i really like mark wallinger's piece. it would get my vote. definitely.

^

srsly though

Mark Wallinger is by far the most accomplished artist there. Although i'm pleased there's some highly politically charged work there, as i think there should be, if the Turner judging panel give it to another absolutely shit artist like they have the last two years i doubt i'll bother following it anymore. Three strikes and they're out.

Yeah

I think Wallinger deserves to win, and its a great piece. Think there's some good stuff in there this year though. I like Another Coley's too.

Hmm

not quite won over by Nathan Coley yet, i must say.

But

the Another Coley work is great. Lollaccino.

That

'There Will Be No Miracles Here' thing looks like album artwork. I like it.

Bear thing also good.

I'm going to see the nominees and winner on wednesday.

I'll form a decision on the nonsense then.

Although the Lady's photographs are brilliant. Yeah, i choose her.

All a bit gash.

I like the guns.

i took a double take

to check you'd written that then
