not here yet!
My weekly chart
is yet to be put up. It's been late every week for me for about 2 months. I think my last.fm page is pregnant.
But, seriously, I think mine's going to be balls.

it seems that sometimes it hasn't updated on your profile page, but if you click 'see more' it updates itself.

1 - I can't fucking wait for the new TNV record.
2 - Mostly "Let It Be".
3 - Probably my favourite soul singer.
4 - Live '84! Greg Ginn owns me on that record.
5 - The Third record is probably my favourite. "Holocaust" is maybe the height but it's full of devastating moments.
6 - Just wonderful songs and a wonderful voice really, and probably the most mellow music ever made by a drug addicted armed robber.
7 - TNV have covered a Petticoats song on their new 7" apparently. One of the best early 80s DIY EPs. I want to hear Stef Petticoat's Peel Session really bad.
8 - Really wonderful 70s psych record that just got reissued.
9 - Maurizio Bianchi made/makes the most evocative and gloomy industrial records ever. Just unparalled genius.
10 - "Vee Vee". Didn't realise how great they were until this week.

1. Pwrfl Power is some hot new Seattle musician, who writes funny lyrics and nice guitar songs. I'd seen his name on Zac Pennington (Parenthetical Girls) list a lot, so had to check him out! Album out next year on Zacs label
2. Really recommended album. It sounds like Panda Bear meeting Bjork with a choir involved. Really lovely album!
7.2 I can't get Pink Reasons song "Dead End" out of my head. So good.
Pink Reason is brilliant
pretty much an instant classic that record, for me at least.
That Little Claw record is brilliant too, huh? I really should buy it... Probably my favourite rock record this year.

Chromatics
Is that the band I stopped listening to after the first thirty seconds of a track which sounded like the start to an epic war scene set on snowy mountains sound-tracked to panpipes? Probably.
Perhaps...
Not their best song, but others are good, I promise!

NOTES
1 - Dillinger Four make me wish I was in a punk band, even though I can't play an instrument. However, according to Nothing Nice To Say, that doesn't matter ! http://www.mitchclem.com/nothingnice/20/
2 - 'Destruction By Definition' is sooo good.
5 - This is a comment about the band Adebisi Shank.
10 - BATS are a very fast noise-punk 5 piece from Ireland, they are great.
are you excited about no. 3's upcoming UK performances?
I am!
I am indeed!
I trust I shall see you at the barfly in Feb? :D The album is great!

I bought 2 Smith's album this week
I love the smiths. I love morrissey more than anyone in music, ever, I think. I can't believe it.
I also love the magnetic fields. I got 69 love songs and have only listened to the first disc so far. It's confused me slightly as I wasn't used to stephin merrit being camp, as I'd only heard get lost.

I'm going to put Weirdo Rippers onto my mp3 so I can listen to it whilst the intro the Hitchikers plays so I don't cry again. Warning, I may or may not be slightly delirious.
i have no idea what you're talking about
why does the intro make you cry?
The only reason i downloaded it in the first place is because they were playing at a club so i thought i'd listen to it before hand and then it turned out to be rather good and then i ended up not going to see them because no one else would go and it was cold and windy.
