Best Explosions In The Sky track?

Magic Hours gets my vote. I can't wait for ATP, it sucks that I don't have the money to go and see them on their tour in February though. So yeah, which do you think is their best track or album? Either Magic Hours or album wise, Those Who Tell The Truth....

They're my favourite band ever so it's hard

but With Tired Eyes or The Moon Is Down for me. Both have made me cry multiple times. EMO! LOL!

Your Hand In Mine.

Have You Passed Through This Night?

I love,

have you passed through this night. The way it kicks of the second half of the record is amazing!

bbc advert centric?

your hand in mine is good
maybe magic hours
memorial?

god i don't know!

The Only Moment We Were Alone

Your Hand in Mine

i usually say First Breath After Coma

but i think the WOW impact that song had on me is fading and i'm liking others more. not sure which particularly though as i usually listen to the albums as a whole, but i think The Only Moment We Were Alone is a strong contender.

basically all of Those Who Tell The Truth and The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place is just amazing and the other 2 albums aren't half bad either

Your Hand In Mine is not their best.

Loads of people think it is though.

I don't have a favourite, but these are great:
The Moon is Down
The Birth and Death of the Day
So Long, Lonesome.

Their new album is much better than everyone says it is as well, I reckon.

surely

it's subjective opinion?

First breath after a coma too

I agree that All of a sudden isn't bd but it's still a bit of a let down after the brilliance of Eart is not a cold dead place

That instrumental one

It begins quietly and then slowly builds up, finally reaching a huge crescendo of guitars and drums. I forget the title.

haven't actually heard the new album

my best is therefore not on it. my best is yasmin the light.

I absolutely love the new album,

it is much better than people say. The crescendo right at the beginning of the opener is brilliant. It's the same with Pelican's latest, City of Echoes, I think both are a lot better than everyone seems to think. Like someone before said, it is those with less obvious crescendonic moments or less obvious ones which are the best and ultimately, the most spellbinding I think.

First Breath After Coma

or maybe even It's Natural To Be Afraid

I'd say...

'first breath after coma' or 'Day One' from The Rescue.

er

clearly, it's 'Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean'. Or whatever it's called.

long spring

easily...

This ^

Absolutely amazing song. How it hasn't made it on to an album, I'll never know.

The Only Moment We Were Alone

one of 3 songs to ever make me cry when I heard it live

Either

Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean or Welcome Ghosts.

I actually

really really really like Remember Me As A Time Of Day. That vies for top spot with First Breath After Coma, Your Hand In Mine and Catastrophe and the Cure.

The Four Tet remix of Catatrophe and the Cure is incredible too.

i like the one that goes ding ding ding ding twinkley twinkley twinkley twinkley

heavey heavey heavey heavey twinkle twinkle twinkle twinkle stop

For me it's got to be

Greet Death, just for that first epic riff with the change.
