Yeah!!

Been waiting weeks and weeks for this :)

Anyone else going? Mandela Hall? Thought not....

they'll be good

but not as good as they were a couple of years ago, judging by my experience on this tour. Though that could have been a one off/ crappy crowd.

They were in Belfast in January,

before they properly hit the mainstream. I kinda regret not going then, as the set will now mostly be made up of Puzzle tracks, which is their worst album.

it wasnt overly full of puzzle tracks

about half were, then the other half were made up of the other 3 albums.

I was going to go to them tonight

In Derry.

But im opting for Mandela Hall tommorrow night, its a much better venue that usually has a much better crowd.

I fucking hate Derry.

Bleh

Saw them in Cork on Tuesday. RUBBISH crowd. Really spoiled it for me - full of posers and kids who didn't give a fuck. Some of the Puzzle songs are pure muck too, even live - The Conversation Is and Love Has a Diameter really stood out as being weak for me.

I'm going tomorrow

I saw 'em at that Mandela hall gig in January (Kerrang! tour, wasn't it?) cos I'd recently got Infinity Land for £4. They were really good. Great crowd too. Although yeah, they hadn't released Puzzle and its SIX(!) singles then.

Start of xmas for me though, so it better be good.

Saw them a few times when they toured Infinity Land and I thought they were awesome

but I wouldn't go see them at the moment.

Can't help thinking the average age of their crowd will have dropped a couple of years since Puzzles was released.

Interesting question.

I need to think this through. The band is on it's fourth album with the first being released five years ago so I'm guessing somewhere.

I got into them about 18 months ago, through Infinity Land. Love for them has visibly increased this year though, as I was struggling to find people at school who liked them before the January gig...

Tomorrow I'm going with six others from school. Never thought I'd see it happen.

Their sound is amazing and Neil's voice and guitar really hold up live

so if you're enjoying Puzzles you'll probably have a great time.

As long as you get a good crowd, I've read several references to crappy people at their shows recently.

if its anything like the READING gig, prepare to mosh like u never moshed before!

Seen them a few times

when they where one of the best live bands in the country, then I saw them at the Round-house and they were - lets say - below average. I agree that songs from Puzzle don't sound so good live but it is definitely my favorite of all their recorded albums.

Keep the faith in the Biffy!!

still have it!

i saw them twice this week, my fifth and sixth time seeing them, and two of the best.

puzzle was undoubtedly their weakest album but that's only because their past work has been of such a high standard. it was still my favourite album of the year.

and i for one can't wait to see where they go next
