There was a lovely surprise for those in attendance at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, as rock’n’roll, er, legend Slash joined Bill Gates onstage to bust out a few licks at the retiring Microsoft chief’s last ever keynote speech.
The Velvet Revolver and Guns N Roses man wielded his axe to win the unfailingly-greedy Gates a $20 bet over the popular computer game Guitar Hero. Sound unlikely? I suppose that's the sort of stunt you can pull when you're the world's richest geek.
