Le Sarvee Farv
That's how the band members pronounce it on the Inches 'extras' disc
thats what i thought
that was easy! its just i had a rather heated debate with a mate who was adamant it was "savvy fav"
I still say savvy fav though
even though I know I'm wrong
^ and me
can't be arsed to pronounce it properly
well they are fools
les is blatantly plural and would not be pronounced as the singular 'Le'
They do say 'Lay'
That was a mistake on my part
lay savvy fav
?
Phonetically its
"Loh-tz Ov Fihl-err"
lay-SAH-vee-FAHV
Ignore mine
^that's a much better phonetic iterpretation
that's the right pronounciation
he has got it. But I still mostly pronounce it to my friends as Les Savvee Fav.
I thought it was just as it's spelt:
Lez Savvy Fav
this is
my thoughts too. in fact i dont see how it can be pronounced any other way???
'LEZ'
All dyke covers band!
Lez Savvy Vag
hopefully
LAY SAR-VEE FARV
That's how Tim pronounces it anyway.
its looking pretty unanimous
exciting!
For some reason
i call them Les Savy Fay
lay savvy favv ?
in the intro to 3/5 the french dude says it.
In American-English: LAY-SAR-VEE-FARV
..which is probably right in this instance seeing as they're an American band.
But, French people would most likely use:
LAY-SA-VEE-FAV
i thought i was just going to be lambasted
for not really knowing, but it looks as though noone on here can make their minds up either. great
people are talking rubbish
lay-SAH-vee-FAHV, as said above. listen to the first song on their first album. they say it there.
From wiki...
"Les Savy Fav (pronounced lay-SAH-vee-FAHV)"
I'm sure it used to say this on the FrenchKiss Records site also.
It's on their myspace too
http://myspace.com/lessavyfav
???
I thought it ws LA-SAVI-FAV (not as in favourite but fav, as in 'av it)
CURLEW PANDY
lolz^
its better than the real one!
It's ruined them for me now
because every time I feel like listening to them I just burst out laughing. In fact 'curlew pandy' seems to just be costantly circulating in my head.
i dont have that problem
as i didnt like em anyway, still a crease though
bish bash bosh
