This is it Forever presents...

Holy Trinity Church, Leeds
29th March 2008
Doors 8pm, £4

Falconetti
Weaving a beautifully epic, monstrous noise into sublime calm, Halifax's Falconetti are truly something special to behold. Sounding somewhere between where My Bloody Valentine, Portishead and Jesu meet, the band paint a suitably dark, but gorgeous audio canvas.
“Elegant soundscapes, dreamy and atmospheric: an exercise in expansion and resolution"
-Sandman Magazine

worriedaboutsatan
Mixing dance music with rock, worriedaboutsatan prove that computer based music can have heart, energy and soul. Bringing Underworld's thumps, Trentemøller's clicks and Explosions in the Sky's guitar driven ambience, these two are creating quite a stir in Leeds at the moment.
"Their blend of intelligent electronica will be some of the best you will find out there"
-John Siwicki, Comfort Comes

Solus Locus
For a band so young, these four guys have maturity way beyond their years. Launching seismic riffs through earth shattering post-prog workouts via glitchy electronica, Solus Locus are definitely ones to look out for.
"The Cymbal shimmers leave scars and the depleted-uranium riffs crush remorselessly"
-Sandman Magazine

forgot to say...

like most gigs at the church, there's no bar but you can bring and consume as much of your own alcohol as possible. just no glass bottles.
hurrah!

this SATURDAY!

SATUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURDAY!

TOMORRRRROW!

what he said!

finding people

to make the trip from manchester is proving difficult! but very much want to come see worriedaboutsatan as a two-piece, as good as wednesday's one piece effort was

Lovely venue

Saw Stars of the Lid there last year, was awesome.

haha

yeah, about the time tom was onstage i was in Bradford Royal Infirmary having just come out of theatre with 6 shiny new stitches in my back... lovely!
if you need a place to crash we can oblige! should be a ace gig, very much looking forward to it!

yeah,

he told us tales of absesses and blood and possibly puss. we've got a great first impression of you!
place to crash may actually be something we take you up on - you sure?

yeah... the blood was there alright

i went through about 50 pads, presses and bandages until it soaked through the bed...
as for crashing, how many of you are there?!?!?! we're off to play in glasgow the next day y'see and need to hit the road pretty quick on sunday morn! i could possibly find another place though...

we'll be between

two and four people, but are more than happy to leave whenever you do! we're not averse to early mornings or owt. will text you in the morning x

big thanks!!

to everyone who came down, it was absolutely rammed! must've been at least 100 people in there, and was a fitting send off to Falconetti, one of my favourite bands ever, who were playing their last gig.
the DJ, Rich, was also amazing as were Solus Locus and i like to think we were pretty good too ;-)
big love!
we'll be doing some more gigs soon as well, in the church and elsewhere, so keep 'em peeled!
