The initial details of this year’s Dot to Dot Festival have been released.
The event will once again run in tandem at sites in Nottingham and Bristol on the 24th and 25th of May – a bank holiday weekend.
The main day at the Bristol site will be Saturday, where events will run from 1pm ‘til the early hours before settling down for a 4pm start on the Sunday. There’s a switch for the Midlands leg, which runs from 3pm on the Saturday and from 1pm ‘til late on the Sunday.
Understood? Tickets for the Dot to Dot Festival, which last year counted the likes of Kate Nash, Chromeo and These New Puritans among its guests, are available now at an ‘Early Bird’ price of £20 for the entire weekend for those over 18 years of age. Early sales will take place to stave off the iration of over 14s at some point soon – details to follow.

Been the last two years
Seen some great bands and generally had a great time, but they better sort out the problems regarding the late night line-ups this year.
Last year, there were only two venues open after 10/11pm, both with small capacities, and to queue in the rain for two hours to try and see Surkin/Erol Alkan only to be rejected entry (because there was no-one watching queues and the amount of fuckers just jumping in front of us so we never got anywhere in the queue) was a kick in the teeth.
If you're going to sell that many tickets, have enough venues open late to hold all those people!
inside stealth last year...
was ridiculous. we were up there early doors, and the music was amazing, but they let far too many people in, was literally like sardines.
It is a fantastic festival though, through the sheer wealth of artists and venues all close by.

Queueing in the rain for stealth was a fucking nightmare, especially with all the pikey fuckers queue jumping.

it was the artist link at the top that threw me.
They need to sort out the tickets and queing problems
and also not make it as f*cking cold as last year! The best one they did was the first one, where there weren't as many people all trying to go to the same places together.
