I had a wall dedicated to Slash (guns n' roses)

and i wouldn't change it for the world. I'm also reading his (auto)biography which is a cracker

ALOT of The Prodigy

and Louise Nurding, who i pretended to fancy

If you are going to pretend to fancy anyone

she wasn't a bad choice

She was the wrong sex

...but still, i hid that one for a while. Thanks Louise Nurding, you're a star!

ha!

I had a poster of Katie Holmes, who I also pretended to fancy. God knows why.

You did better than my mate who had

a picture of Skin from Skunk Anansie in a bikini.

He came out first.

I still have a soft spot for Blink 182

My gateway band and all that

me too

dude ranch is in my top 10, but nostalgia outweighs its musical merits i feel

Yeah

I initially showed an interest in +44 and A&A for that reason, but they were both too shite for me to be bothered

Post-Prodigy/Louise I plastered my walls with

Slipknot and Cypress Hill posters, too c.2000.

I also stole a poster from the church hall i had orchestra practice in that said "JESUS LOVES LITTLE CHILDREN"

:D

I used to cut out pictures and words from magazines

As well as gig tickets and the like. One of my walls in my old bedroom was covered in articles on Lightning Bolt, Diamanda Galas, Merzbow, Throbbing Gristle...it was a pretty scary wall.

I do that ^

I have covered one wall in gig tickets and flyers.

When I went back to my childhood room

after a year away at Uni, it was like some sort of bizarre mid-90's shrine. It was ace.

Black Grape, Bjork and Supergrass posters above the bed, an In Bed With Madonna film poster and some Rebekah Elmaloglou posters, 'flyers' for new singles and albums and tours from some horrific middle-of-the-road indie bands all the way round the room, Chumbawamba and Stony Sleep posters in alcove 1, Subcircus and Suede posters in alcove 2 and a poster of a gorilla drinking a bottle of beer whilst wearing a football kit on my notice board, alongside the one valentines card I'd received.

Posters

- Sex Pistols 'God Save the Queen' torn flag image

- PIL - Lydon in black and white staring out of it

Erm...

Blur

Menswear, The Bluetones, Reef and REM.

I recently chucked all my posters, most were the bus shelter sized ones. They'd become all tatty and ripped and I know Mr Starshaped wouldn't let me put them up. I nearly cried.

Couldn't see the wall paper!

Neighbours sticker of Scott and Charlene that embarrassingly I couldn't peel off the wall until I left home at 18
Picture of RHCP with socks on their penises - I didn't realise why the socks stayed on. My dad tore this down in a fit of pique.
