don't worry scenesters and anyone who writes the Royal Circular, I'm still here, but will be moving in the next year and though I can't wait because, let's face it, you can't live here forever. Unless you want to end your life despairingly in a room above a wetherspoons in Finsbury Park with Great Things by Echobelly on accidental repeat on your CD player can you?

So I was wondering after 8 years what the outside world is really like -apart from weekend visits or holidays up and down our fair isle what is GB really like these days and is it as claustrophobic and tittle tattle-y as it was when I left in 2000?

See what living in London does? It suddenly becomes another planet.

I moved to Berlin

you get treated well for playing in a band there. I don't miss London. Although I will have to return at some point..meh

never!

There's a great big world outside London, and it's beautiful.

I've done 68% of everything I wanted to do living here

Just hope the rest happens soonish. Think I will enjoy it more when I don't live there. I will be working here and doing 'other things but actually not going home and living in some vastly overpriced tat will be relieving.
