i just wanted to say what a thoroughly enjoyable and lovely album this is.
does anyone else here agree? is it worth getting any of his other ones?

great album

haven't listened to this in a long time but i remember it being rad

In Other Words

Is among my favouritest songs ever.

i really love the bit in 'lizzy'

where he goes 'telegraph, telegram, telephone, telling you...'
it makes me go all wobbly.

when I met him in 2004

he was telling me he got married and said "yeah! I married Lizzy". He is so sweet.

brilliant.

i love that song even more now! thanks.

This^

In other words is quite beautiful.

It's quite nice, yeah

But he'll never write another song as good as 'Little Pink Stars.

my first band

used to cover this.

:D

Amazing - I always wanted to do that! When I was 13 I had secret fantasies about singing it to this girl I really liked and how she'd fall in love with me. It's one of the few singles I still keep hold of.

you should have!

i've got an image in my head where you just rock up to her front door with your electric guitar and portable amp and rock her face off a la teen movie.

I'm pretty sure that's what I had in mind

I'd clearly been watching too much California Dreams. I'd have looked just like this:

and then off

to sharkeys afterwards for a vanilla milkshake?

yep

and then Bill Clinton will tell me not to smoke whilst playing the saxophone.

yes, get them

BK is amazing, you'll love his other stuff!

.

His second one 'On My Way' is worth getting, not quite as good as Sha Sha but some good tracks all the same. Personally I couldn't get into the latest one at all. New album penned for release this year though, hopefully it's a return to form.

Best album

Nothing else has touched this BK-wise for me. So so good.

the new album?

or sha sha?

Falling

is one of my favourite songs ever.

My I love this album.

Nthing approval

of On My Way. Wonderful record.

I've never heard any Radish though, were they any good or just famous for his being so young then?

superb

almost flaweless album I'd say. On My Way has it's moments but isnt a patch on Sha-Sha.

The Radish album (his previous band) is vaguely entertaining - quite hard to find though.

Sorry to say

largely down hill after this album. It is a hummdinger.

Worth trying to find his cover of the doo-wop classic Lollipop on some Zombie video game soundtrack.

Also he released a few eps around the Sha-Sha album, with demos, alternate versions and some great extras.

lovely

indeed !

Love it

What a legend

it's such a sweet album

in other words, walk on me and falling makes me go aww.

I like the fact that

he once stuck a tampon up his nostril to stifle a nosebleed, onstage

probably

my favourite ever album. probably.
