Post-rock three-piece God Is An Astronaut are to cross the Irish Sea later this year for a series of shows.
In what will be the County Wicklow outfit’s first shows on British shores for many a moon, the trio will be playing four dates in mid-April. The gigs are expected to coincide with both the vinyl release of last year's excellent Far From Refuge long-player (review here), which is due out at the end of March through Morning Rise Records, and an as-yet untitled split 12 inch single with Italian ambient rockers The Mantra Above The Spotless Melt Moon.
Dates are as follows:
April
17 London Hoxton Bar & Kitchen
18 Norwich Arts Centre
19 Leeds Brudenell Social Club (w/ These Monsters & Immune)
20 Farnborough Tumbledown
