i have not had any anti-morrissey feeling throughout all of this racism getting old not as good anymore malarkey. but his trousers are too baggy and i feel disappointed because he is meant to be suave! and his voice isn't great. neither is the song. i think my blind admiration has just ended :(

The performance wasn't THAT bad....

... but, yes, his trousers are unforgivable.

^ Shut up ^

end of.

wasn't talking to you

...i posted before you

Jools trying to get the others to play

anything he can play boogie-woogie Piano along to. ME ME ME.

BSP were great.

Not this fucking boogie bastard woogie again

Yeah, they were aight

But their performance was a little bit flat I think. And I like them a lot.

is

this programme even finished yet? I like the internet

did anyone like ida maria?

what a fucking amazing chorus. (naturally, since she's swedish)

n.b.:

upon investigation, the chorus has no power when recorded in a studio. possibly only good in jools holland's studio...

Have you never seen him

on tv before? He is very far from suave, he reminds me of my dad, but older.
Also, Ida maria - why do bands think they're much more rock than they are, like actions of heavy metal while fluttering indie plays in the back.

i've seen him live

he was suave then!

He is probably still suave

Tv strips people's beauty from them, it is only an imitation of reality.

I've never previously liked

'something is squeezing my skull'... but i liked that!!!

However old Terry Venables is

is how old Morrissey looks, and less dapper.

65

!?

BSP and Alan Carr

together at last

dear Internet

please, if at all possible, can we have at least one discussion of Jools Holland without the phrase "boogie-woogie" being used?

No? Thought as much

Pretty much impossible

much like having a show without him indulging in some of the BW.

Did anyone else enjoy

Waving Flags coming on after Morrissey had just finsihed?

Yes

I even more so than Morrissey finishing.

Did anyone else struggle to stop thinking about Craig David when Nate James was singing?

Especially in light of

all the 'floodgates' cack he's spouted. That's what I was trying to get at.

I thought that first Nate James song had a mean chorus. I quite liked the senile chap, too.

Yeah I realised that after I posted

very good :)

The chorus was good in that first song. Well maybe not good, but not what I was expecting, the verses however sounded very Craigy Dizzle to me. I almost liked him, but couldn't get past it.

squeezing

my skull was awesome

my take...

Morrissey was his usual excellent self. Nate James was the most boring thing I have ever witnessed. Ida Maria were bloody brilliant and I have subsequently bought two of their singles. British Sea Power were horrid and I have never seen a band resort to so many gimmicks before.

British Sea Power

are probably the epitome of everything I hate in music.

I have

had to endure about three people I know raving about them for months and when I finally get the chance to see what the fuss is about I am left completely underwhelmed...Wrestling on stage? Stupid puppet things? Completely flat performance...their interview was just horrible as well

OH MERCY ME

its not even funny how much i loved sea power.....

inspired me to march round my house at 5 in the morning shouting EASY EASY EASY EASY at some random irish girls my housemate had lured back.

this is true

but the other song "all you need is me" is pretty good...
