DiS is pleased to present what can only be called a world exclusive - the first-ever showing of the new video from much-tipped Brooklyn four-piece Yeasayer.
The below video accompanies the new recording of 'Wait For The Summer'; the original version can be found on the band's All Hour Cymbals album (in DiS's top 50 of 2007), which is reviewed HERE.
The single version of 'Wait For The Summer' is released via We Are Free on March 10 (digital) and March 17 (limited-edition 7"). Video - exclusive to DiS - below...

CREME FRESHE.
this.is.awesome
this is one of the best videos i've seen in ages.
cannot wait for the ica shows.
holy animation
that's pretty sweet, especially the apples as planets bit
I don't think this is a World Exclusive.
i reckon Nigeria couldn't give a sh*t same goes for Madagasgar and Sri Lanka.
Even without
sound that video is tres awesome. Damn work with no sound!
that video
is rather ace. not entirely convinced with the new version though. ica cant come soon enough
why?
What's the aim of this remix? The original version was far better than this, with a slower and much fascinating atmosphere. Where's the sitar sample gone?
simply put
it's to transform it from an album track to a single. if they released the one on all hour cymbals it would sound like it's a bit of something bigger, which it does, but with this version there is an impact that we expect from singles.
Looks like a frutopia commercial
in a good way, if that's possible
that's lovely
who directed/made it?
these dudes, i believe

i think this new version of wait for the summer is great - takes a few listens but it's much more like the live show.
