Singing along at home

What bands, albums, songs can you simply not resist singing along to whilst listening at home?

I'm listening to Echoes by the Rapture for the first time in months and I just couldn't help myself- I can imitate that Luke Jenner dodgy falsetto well it seems- and I always find myself singing along to The Unicorns and !!! too...

How about you?

just about any song really

but sleeping lessons by the shins is a big one for me at the moment

Bonnie Prince Billy

definitely. Though I do sing along to pretty much every sing I listen to.

All the above

and especially The Velvet Underground, only when I know I can't be heard.

pretty obvious

But I find a Smiths chorus pretty irresistable. Some others always get me: ATDI especially. Oh... Royal City - Little Heart's ease, my absolute favourite singalong album.

Pretty much any Les Savy Fav

McLusky, Hot Snakes and Enon.

Right now

Future of the Left. Hours of fun. Well, a little short of an hour unless you hit repeat. Love those group vocals.

I get very shy when singing along

If anyone walks in I get quite embarrassed.
Recently, since I've got a strange high-pitched singing voice (French telephone operators always, without fail, confuse me for a woman), it's been mostly Aereogramme, Meet Me In St Louis, Fugazi (because Ian can't sing and neither can I) and old school Biffy.

Most songs

if I know them well enough. But particularly the latest cribs album.

Holly Golightly

either with or without Billy Childish

i can never do it

cause my olds are never out of the house.

Olds?

Is that what the woman who gave you birth has be reduced too? Try singing with the "Olds" in the house, might drive them out.
