I'm going

I plan to meet up with my girlfriend :P. I think the fact that I knew people from the internets at LC! last week dented any respect she may have had for me

yes

i am, but i'm going to have to go home first and doors are at 7 apparently so i dunno if i'll have time to meet before.

is the queen going?

do we know? it would be rude of her not to, after the letter and all

Doors are at 7.00?!

Blimey too early as will have to go home first too. Still, row A tonight!

I just rang the RFH

7:00 doors
7:45 film
8:45 eels on stage
10:15 finish

Film?

I'm pretty dense about this, I bought the tickets as a present

they usually have things like this when they tour

they screened episodes of Cheburashka ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheburashka ) beforehand on the With Strings tour in 2006 :D

:D

I suppose there is no chance they'll screen that again! He looks so sweet

i don;t know

which is one of my favourite things about seeing Eels live, i really have no idea what to expect!

they were great, actually, even with the hilarious undertones of "YOU WILL BE A GOOD SOVIET CITIZEN". the two episodes i saw both featured Cheburashka and his friends work together to defeat evil, selfish people, one of which was actually a Factory owner. Subtle much there?

doors are at 7.45

according to the website and my tickets.

which are apparently wrong

THANKS RFH

I'm going

but I feel like utter shit and will probably burst into tears if they play anything from the first 3 albums. Bleurgh.

haha

i nearly did that before when, out of nowhere, they played Packing Blankets <3

i'm not going

but may go along to just buy the tour only cd/dvd. Which seems a small hassle.

Anyone need a spare ticket?

My friend is ill so she can't come, so I'm selling a ticket at face value (can't remember what that is as it was purchased so long ago!)

Can't wait to see Eels again!!

I'm there!

Got lame tickets though, gonna be right at the back. :-(

I'm going

with my DAD. Woop! I converted him to Eels after he went to the Astoria gig in 2006 cos I couldn't use the ticket... Super excited!

hahaha

interesting.
cos that show totally put a huge Eels fan off them, apparently for good.

He was stoked

he only had Novocaine for the Soul and described it as 'alright', and now they're one of his favourite bands ever.
