Could'nt think of a better subject heading.

Basically im about to go out and either buy the reissue of DJ Shadow's Entroducing or the ATDI compliation. Which deserves my cash more?

Re: Shadow's Drive In

Does ATD-I comp have unreleased songs? Do you have all their albums worth getting (Relationship of Command and Vaya being the best two)?

Re: Shadow's Drive In

Shadow.

Re: Shadow's Drive In

ATD-I.
Unless you've got it all.
I dunno what could make 'Endtroducing' more worthwhile after this time (besides, do you not have the original? I thought it was, like, compulsorary?)

Re: Shadow's Drive In

Sorry yeah I have got Endtroducing but only on vinyl which is nice, but so impractical as my record player is buried under piles of crap & it sounds poo.

I've only got Relationship & a 7inch of Rolodex Propaganda from ADTI

Re: Shadow's Drive In

If you've only got Relationship... get the ATDI best of. Mind you, you'll probably end up buying in/casino/out and Vaya after hearing it so just buy those albums anyway and forget about the best of.

Re: Shadow's Drive In

has any1 heard the ATD-I cover band: At The Driving Range? they are just fans who mime ATDI material on stage...

Re: Shadow's Drive In

I don't know but I'm going to buy the Endtroducing deluxe thingy after work, have heard some of the remixes on the other disc and they're good.

They gave it 10 on pitchfork without really talking about the 2nd disc.

Its probably my second favourite album ever, so I'm going to buy it either way. It also has a nice booklet about the album too, which I'd like very much.
