I noticed there was a thread about NME and why it's crap. Well why don't you all get yourself a copy of Blues Matters! It's the ONLY decent music magazine (online or in the shops around at the moment!!!!!).........www.bluesmatters.com!

I'm gonna use this troll post to talk about Chunklet. Go and buy this magazine, its amazing. They recently contributed to the Mogwai q and a page on their website and managed to piss everyone off.

Kruger Magazine has pretty interesting DFA 1979, VWF, Juliette Jewis and The Warriors articles in issue 6. (there is a placid casual ad on the back!?)

a couple of places near me still get the fly in ... probably is they say everything is "quite good" so its hard to gather if youd like something or not

rock sound is very good for that style of music ... in fact its my favourite , they give relatively diverse coverage and the reviews are usually spot on

I tend to only buy magazines if they have a cd on the front, nearly anything else can be gleaned off the interweb for free. The current Uncut comes with a good old skool funk cd, and this month's The Wire has some good stuff on the cover CD.
