at reading festival with two drummers once, it was immense! and ive seen foo fighters do a few tracks with dave on a second drum kit in liverpool. also sounded really good! cant think of any bands where this is a permanant set up though

might be able to assist me in this, as i had a conversation around this very "2(+) drummers good" fact where I proposed Jaga Jazzist as a fine example of a great band as I was sure they had more than 1 drummer when I saw them, but this was disputed and i've as yet been unable to find out either way.

I think there should be some sort of bassist redistribution programme. Bands like Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and the White Stripes who don't have any could have one of the spares from those who have two.

local (southampton) promoters ahve managed to put together a band which has FOUR drummers (someone else got involved too last time, so its actually kind of 5) which is the most i know of!
Isnt there a band cannles Aa (big a little a) which has 3 drummers, or is that just 3 of them play drums at different points?
