The one about post-rock was interesting..
..as I've only relatively recently started to get into music that could be described in this way.
I did enjoy the one about eccentrics mainly because I believe myself to be a true eccentric, unlike people that try and be "wacky".
The eccentric one was excellent.
I was glad there was a Nick Cave feature but had spent the morning on the Nick Cave music board thread so it had less impact than it might have done otherwise.
And it left Henry's Dream off, which is wrong whatever way you look at it. Although admittedly I gather Nick Cave doesn't like the production on it so he'd probably thank you for it all the same.
PS this thread reminds me of that scene in the Simpsons
where Troy McClure is on a date with either Patty or Selma (I forget which) and the scene starts with him saying "Ha ha - that was a brilliant anecdote. Now you tell one..."

I'd agree on the news
pf's is nicer to read. i love most of the reviews on this site, they are usually enjoyable to read and accurate. Can't we get more control on the scores though? Too many 9's for my liking - save them for the REALLY good albums.
