i cant get over
how much the deluxe edition is going for.
fucking hell.
it doesn't sound too bad though.
they are all signed by trenty boy
come on, there are enough obsessive NIN fans out there who'd gladly sell their arm for a super special edition copy.
I suspect it'll be something like the ambient tracks off the fragile.... only 2 hours of it. whether that's good or bad depends on your perspective, i suppose....
$10 for a two CD set...
Sounds like a bargain to me...
I'd go for the download but my work computer is already full to bursting point.
gosh, trent is a busy boy these days
also, kudos for the download offering lossless options. although i'll still probably get it on CD ;)
<see other new nin album thread for my feelings>
excited
sorry
didn't realise there was another thread. Wouldn't have started this one if i had!!
it all relates
to that model of payment the internet has recently fostered - the idea that a few people paying for premium packages can sustain everyone else getting it for nothing or next to nothing.

The above is a really good, clear article about this.
interesting
good article.
who's gonna be the first band to try it for gigs then, eh?
Certainly not Bjork and her £40 tickets
i think it should be really good
Year Zero was real noisy in places, and i'm hoping it'll be like the instrumental parts of latter-half The Downward Spiral and those in songs like The Graet Destroyer on Y.Z. Plus, there'll inevitably be some of the quieter moments, such as those on The Fragile.
I'm stoked.
$300
riiight
OK
sure
$300 x 2500 = $750,000
why not $500?
why not $1000 including a drop of blood from the veins of
There are a variety of options though
if this were The Mars Volta i'd WANT the uber-package. It isn't though, so i'll pay $10 for the double CD.
I don't think £150 (probably just under) is too bad for everything that you get if you'd use it all. The double CD is £5 which i sure ain't arguing with.
Is anyone else having trouble ordering the 2-CD version?
I get as far as choosing my payment method, then it just goes back to the start.
It'll be in stores in April though
so no need to worry about getting it yet.
Am i right in this thought, or is it not going to be available in stores?
I'm not sure...
From what I can gather, it appears to be similar to In Rainbows, in so much as you get it from the site before its physical release date.
I'm probably wrong, though...
Let's hope the quality's better
than that of In Rainbows
