Personally I think you look better with but your point about more women liking clean shaven men is a valid one along with job prospects etc. So I think it would be sensible to shave it off, but cooler if you didn't. Anyone else find it out that a post of this length is dedicated to a check yes/no/maybe for someone's BEARD? I mean, this isn't exactly Burger King debating whether or not to get rid of the Whopper. I can only imagine what will happen when you are pondering the deep, confusing issue of antiperspirants vs. deodorants and gels vs. solids.

you already know this is the right choice, you're just looking for some back up. SHAVE IT and keep a layer of sexy stubble. Maybe toy with a tache for a bit, though be warned that your final point re: conversation counts triple if you have a moustache.

beards only really suit guys whose faces they blend into - i.e. not 'oh wow look at that incredible beard, gosh you look so different', or guys who look a bit funny without one - otherwise it can become a point of novelty - a conversation starter, sure, but not necessarily a good thing.

That was probably too long because the tache part just got in the way when eating and drinking. I like the 8 weeks length look the most though...

It is true that when you meet people they come up and speak to you about it and stuff, but you can't complain really as it's a choice you've made to have a huge beard...

Though if you have to -have- either that or the moustache...... then maybe keep.

so i was keeping my beard because a friend had recommended me for a job saying "he's got a really good beard"

and itd be ages since i'd applied and i hadn't got an interview, so i just assumed that it wasn't going to happen.
