Anyone ever used them? having a bit of trouble getting the vinyls I ordered 3 weeks ago.. & no answer to my emails.. does it normally take a bit of time to get stuff from them??
Not to get no their back cause the bands are almost all superb (loving the Sam Issac single as well as Itch & House of brothers).. but its not much to expect emails if your order is gonna be a no show for a few weeks.. though maybe my postie has just nicked it..
loads of people on here ask about orders because they've taken so long.
i dont mean to be a prick either, i know i probably sound it, and i dont run a label so i dont have the experience, but over the space over 3 weeks, even if i worked 12 hours a day, i imagine i'd have time to put a record in a package and go to the post office
Cameron78 can you email me (bsmrocks@googlemail.com) one more time please? Sorry I haven't responded so far, I've been in and out so much lately I have literally hundreds of mails to work through so yours will no doubt be buried within there. There's also a small chance I have received them anyway. Some mails don't seem to be coming through to me and when I respond you'll probably receive it 2 or maybe 3 times, so look forward to that!
Daniel, your Yndi 12" is on it's way! Sent it about an hour ago along with a massive pile of other peoples things, so hopefully anyone waiting will find their bits and pieces dropping through their letterboxes in the next couple of days
And to answer the general question of why it takes so long/should it be this hard... I really wish it didn't/wasn't, but unfortunately it's quite a difficult thing to stay on top of, especially with a back catalogue of 48 releases and new orders piling through all the time. I do fully intend to get better though and have set myself targets of a minimum number being posted per day from here on.
And in the time it took me to write this lengthy defence I probably could've posted 2 more. So I'll just shut up and go find some envelopes now! :-)
I have heard...
... from members of bands on the label that they can be a little slow.
Kev is doing it on his own so it may take a while
I'm asked him yesterday about Yndi vinyl and he said he was planning to post them yesterday, so hopefully stuff will arrive soon
i never see the point in having a label
if you're shite at posting records on time, and shite at staying in contact with people.
that's the whole point of it
Isn't the whole point
releasing music that you love and enjoy?
there's no point releasing it
if it takes forever to get to the people who have paid money for it.
It does say on the website
it will take a while though
haha
i know how it can get so kev has my total sympathy!
it's very hard to keep on top of all that stuff with a full time job to do!
in an ideal world, it'd all run smoothly but in reality it's a different matter!
Yeah I agree

Good work, sir!
