It's Hollywood's Zooey Deschanel and M Ward sounding like a cross between Jenny lewis's "Rabbit fur coat" album and The Carpenters and Linda Ronstadt.

Then the new Destroyer, Nick Cave, Beach House and Mountain Goats efforts.

I've pre-ordered the Foals and Youthmovies albums and I'm getting the latest Charlottefield album this weekend. Hopefully I can add these soon.

In conclusion The Mars Volta's new album is the only one I've really listened to properly from this year. I've been catching up on older stuff mainly.
