It would appear that erstwhile London street punks White Man Kamikaze are using up more energy and getting angrier with every gig they play. At last fridays gig at The Last Rockers Club the band, seemingly unhappy with the PA and lack of soundman, threw their equipment across the venue and stormed out at the climax of the set.
They are playing at The Metro on August 14th and Herbal on August 19th. Check them out if you like your Rock and Roll loud and dirty.
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S NEVER LEARN!
translation: after playing their set, they put down their instruments and left the stage.
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S NEVER LEARN!
You lack professionalism and integrity on a grand scale. When you post your follow up comment, you will only prove this further.
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S NEVER LEARN!
Anyway, my sincerest apologies for draining the world of its joy (is this your only insult?), and thus proving how lacking I am in every respect... by cracking a joke, naturally.
Obviously, having your friends post endless clichéd comments about how great your band are in order to get attention is somehow a purer, more honest pursuit.
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S NEVER LEARN!
I just think people in general should be more supportive of upcoming talent rather than dismiss it until they are a signed commodity advertised in the NME.
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S NEVER LEARN!
Oh, and they're not a signed commodity and haven't, to my knowledge, appeared in the NME. But then I haven't read it since 1997, bar a flick through my girlfriend's copy.
If the Kamikazes are in London on a day that I'm not broke, I'll go along and see them. Hopefully they're as exciting as you say live, because the MP3s I've heard sound no different to bands like The Vines, The Hives, and even a tiny bit like bands I like such as BRMC and Jon Spencer. Which is great, it's rock n' roll, but it's getting to the point where everyone sounds the same.
I'm sorry if my responses to Kamikazes posts have seemed cynical and stuff but I hear the same hyperbole and OTT excitement about bands all the time, and often they're just the same old same old, with the same posing and the same mission statement.
Course, time will tell... WMK might mutate into a three-headed interstellar rock beast and I'll be happily munching on my words.

Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S NEVER LEARN!
A) I love what they do
B) I think people should read about them
C) This site is here for the bands
Just being good is not enough, people need to see the name of a band in the first place, just to know they exist. You could argue that I have already mentioned White Man Kamikaze here many times before but the more they get mentioned, the more people will hear about them. To be honest, I doubt anyone pays attention to the comments, it is just the band name that sticks in their mind and that is what all this is about.
Go to The Metro and check them out, you will have a great night.
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S FANS NEVER LET UP
..and the more people people get bored to the back fucking teeth of them and their incessantly-posting handful of chums hyping the band, possibly before they've even heard any music by them (which I have).
Ever heard of the word "OVERKILL", dearies?
Re: THE KAMIKAZE'S FANS NEVER LET UP
Whatever. You bunch of whinging kids get back to your innane critiques of your own website and damn your hypocritical blood.
You are under no obligation to read any of the posts on this site. Get a job you like and stop fucking complaining.
