^ that's Glasto.

duuuuuh

rialto!

omg omg i have to book a ticket NOW.

[if rialto really were playing, this would be my actual reaction.]

where did you hear that?

i'm so all over that!

The editor of a website that

has gotten 95% of the headliners right in advance since I started going in 2002

hmmm....

i'll believe it when it's official, but that is the general concensus from the sounds of things.

well

its quite clearly from e-festivals, which is indeed always always correct!

rage are basically confirmed, the others are just looking pretty damn likely

Come 31st March

I'm going to be pressing refresh like a fiend.

Don't!

On festival sale day, refresh just refreshes the busy page. Re enter the URL and you'll be more successful

^ me too!

A Bros reunion?!?!!! Wouldn't miss it for the world

is that the

confirmed date for tickets going on sale?

Yes

Ha

Makes me glad i already have my ticket

Yeah

buying after last year's ftw!

UGH

slipknot? seriously? oh dear

Slipknot are great live

plus there are about 7 stages - i'm sure you could divert your attention for an hour

yeah

fair point

Not sure which is worse

this or Glastonbury. I guess at least they do have someone worth seeing in Bloc Party. Why did I bother buying advance tickets?

faaaaaaaaaaake.

Weezer under Babyshambles?

Yeah right.

Its plausible

But QOTSA as one from top? I dont think so.

That better not be right

that line-ups too good.
Weezer/Alexisonfire/The Killers/Gallows/etc./etc./etc.

Gallows

are self confirmed to play.

This has been all over

the interweb twice.

It was made by a guy on my other forum, forum.readingfestivalonline.co.uk

The main way you can tell its a fake is by
Jack PenTATE and Buffy instead of Duffy.

How much are day tickets?

I only really want to see Rage

about £70

with fees i think. Oof.

I'm so glad I decided not to do it this year

as that just looks like a pile of shite.

I want

The Hives.

that line-up is a fake

if you notice, it says at the top: 'Mean Fiddler presents'. Mean Fiddler having changed its name to Festival Republic last year.

obv

but i bet it's going to be pretty close to the horrible truth

I got this in an e-mail from someone I

know at Festival Republic, he says its near-as-dammit to the actual lineup.

although no weezer :(

and LOL at enter shikari on the main stage... can only begin to imagine how shit that will be.

There's a couple every year that e-festivals

put as rumours when they're grabbing at straws, Feeder and Weezer are thos this year.

Enter Shikari will be fucking gash on the main, but I'll still see them =]

Haha, he made a fail with Parka, only just noticed that.

Yeah I do, he's an old mate who started working there 2/3 years ago.

parka playing twice?

aint they been around for ages anyway?

Looks pretty plausible

do you actually know the person personally?

are the Fratellis

really that big to be above NOFX and 30 seconds to Mars ?

I would think so

As we know at festivals like this, indie is worth way more points than pop-punk and emo, and Chelsea Dagger was like earth-eatingly massive.

Also

how many records have NOFX sold in Britain? And who's more likely to be on the BBC3 coverage?

The record industry really is putting a lot of faith into Joe Lean and the Ting Tings, isn't it?

I know its not as many as in America

And frankly I don't care either, they're shit.

They're just yet another 5 minute indie fad, nobody will know them this time next year, same with Does It Offend.

The second paragraph

was in ref to Ting/Jing

couldnt care for any of those bands

just a bit confused how the Fratellis could command a high place in a line up

Saturday main stage might be worth it

Queens followed by Rage= my 16 year old self spaffing his pants.

Les Savy Fav!

hadn't even presumed that they could play!

They've received

quite a bit of NME rimming of late...

oh yeah I suppose...

what with Harrington being in the cool list and everything!

I hope you are right

ART BRUT!!!!!!!!!
Ah, joyous.

Damn at Vampire Weekend/Justice clash.

they might not clash

or if they do itll be like half hour of one band and half hour of the other :)

That line up is so Meh

No Crystal Castles or Maccabees either which is surprising.

Bollocks

Pendulum are doing Creamfields on Saturday

They self-confirmed

so nyeh.

Hope this is right

RATM
Dillinger
Les Savy Fav
QOTSA

Fantastic!

Most of this is wank.

Although I would be interested in:

Q.O.T.S.A
The Dillinger Escape Plan
Bloc Party

I wouldn't mind seeing:

Gallows
Modest Mouse
Tokyo Police Club
Foals (even though I've never heard them)
R.A.T.M (even though I don't even like them that much)
Les Savy Fav (even though I've never heard them)

I'd have thought that

Modest Mouse and the Cribs would be on the same day if Marr's going to play with both of them....

Not actually "heard it here first"

considering loads of forums have been saying the same thing for ages.

that line up

will do me NICELY

Looks like

Fightstar have got the annual bottling slot!

fucking

sweet

no

foals?

WRONG and NOT NEW

That has been rolling about on eFests for a while, a long with similar line-ups.
After much dicussion it seems likely, but a few of the bands are being put to question such as the killers.
The guy who got emailed below is lying.
Enter shikari have stated that they are NOT playing reading/leeds!, there are many small mistakes, but one alone shows it is fake ha

Well done

No it isn't new as it was posted two weeks ago

What site would people

recommend for getting tickets on Monday?

i thought you werent going?

or are you doing the hotel thing again?
i got mine from seetickets last year and in 2006

I am going

I'm just not camping. I'm going to be seriously f*cked off if RATM aren't playing though.

Seetickets are the only ones selling

Here's a tip, if it goes to a busy screen, don't press refresh, you're just refreshing the busy page, re-enter the URL.

Also try other urls like www.seetickets.com/meanfddr or the like

does that really work

that url thing? (of course it fucking works you wouldnt type it for no reason) (sorry i always ask sailly questions)

It mightn't

because it's Festival Republic now, not Mean Fiddler.

thanks

I'll defo try that. Fingers crossed x

seetickets arent the only ones selling

lastminute, gigantic, ticketline are as well

arghh

monday :D

Foals are definately playing

CLose to the top on the second stage i seem to remember.

it'll be this + some more bands

RATM
Killers
Metallica
QOTSA
Slipknot
Tenacious D
Bloc Party
Babyshambles
Machine Head
Editors
Avenged Sevenfold
Serj Tankian
Feeder
Fratellis
Weezer
Hives
Subways
We Are Scientists
Biffy Clyro
Raconteurs
Cribs
Manic Street Preachers
Enemy
Dizzee Rascal
Pendulum
Modest Mouse
British Sea Power
Gallows
Wombats

tenacious d are playing the sunday - rather random

damn lack of edit

only 1 not sure on is weezer.

nme.com

are selling too.

is there any chance whatsoever

that elbow could play?

elbow are at latitude

go there and don't waste your time and money on shitty reading or leeds

MTV2 just played some of the line up

And it's looking to be The Killers and Metallica for definite.

No sign of RATM though :(

if rage dont play

I will be very sad.

Seing as though they have been rumoured for about 6 months

I would be very surprised if they don't.

rage

are playing. they agreed the contract last year and they've been down as confirmed on efest for about 3 months

Innit

The rumoured headliners are pretty much always the headliners.

Killers

Just confirmed by NME.com
