Aren't laptop bags kind of asking to be mugged?
You may as well stick a big sign to it that says 'EXPENSIVE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT IN HERE!'.

There's no real way you can carry a laptop without a) not being a prime muggers target, and b) not looking like a massive massive noob. Laptop bands, manbags, record bags - they all look really ghey, infact i'm not sure any bag can look okay on a man. I'd wrap it in a jumper and put in in one of those JJB bags, or something similar.

thing is you see, it looks very much like a backpack but with a special bit. so people dont know i have one. please dont tell any bad guys.

i think it looks pretty good. i don't particularly think the picture does it justice. to be honest, i actually use if as an all purpose bag more often than as a laptop bag, which i think is part of why its awesome: it doesn't look like a laptop bag. loadsa space in it too.
