I also see you're playing Pictures Paint Words in Notingham, those guys are cool. I once saw them support Owen (bizzare) in little old Hinckley (even more bizzare).
Glad to see their still around, they do need to get a gig or too in Leicester though.

It was the most bizzare, yet paint wetting moment of my life
It was the Owen + City On Film (Bob Nanna) tour about June 2005 I think?
I walked past this pub one day (Beavers Bar, now closed) and it read "Owen blah blah". I went down on the day, paid a couple of quid and sat back with about six other people as I saw a few living legends grace a small stage yards infront of me.
They played Rock City the next day!

We won't be playing with the Young Knives tomorrow at Leicester University. We upset the promoters by telling them we didn't the other support band were our cup of tea, and it turned out the promoters WERE said support band, so they cancelled us and didn't tell us til today!
