I think I've just increased my productivity by about 30% when listening to Hot Snakes. Minus also seem to have a positive effect.

I don't get to listen to music at work.
It makes me sad. People who want to know about my taste in music but have no idea who Muse are make me very sad and frustrated, there is no way I could possibly explain it to them in terms they would understand.
I couldn't physically do my job
without headphones in. there's so much benile chat and phone activity it would literally drive me insane. My colleagues have no clue what I'm listening to, they never ask which is probably a good thing.
I wouldn't be allowed to wear headphones.
I couldn't exactly talk to people on the phone otherwise. I wish I could listen to music at work. :(

i use coffee to help me stay awake. works quite well, although i do tend to get a bit shaky after the 5th cup....
i could listen with headphones, but it seems a bit anti-social and gets annoying if the phone rings...

has pretty much been on repeat for the last week in my office which I share with no-one. In between plays Broken Social Scene have been getting a look in.
Whether this has improved by output is pretty debatable. DIS certainly doesn't fucking help, I can tell you that much.

his radio podcast always makes me laugh. Other than that it's anything goes. The Hercules & Love Affair album is playing a lot from within my headphones. The Performance soundtrack made work go a bit weird yesterday.
