disappointed more than just a little bit. It doesn't seem to have much of an identity with a lot of the tracks drifting along into nothingness after a while.
Certainly not the best thing they've done - possibly the weakest. I don't think they'll ever top Horses in The Sky to be honest.
It's a lot fuller and louder than previous work, with loads of Efrim singing, so if you don't like his voice then you're unlikely to enjoy this album. The guitar work is more in the foreground, and there is less violin/cello and choral singing as before.
its amazing
i'm totally getting it on vinyl
yeah
good stuff
Album of the year
without doubt.
i wish
i liked Efrim's vocals
*worst thing they have ever done
Except for blindblindblind it is terrible
Very much agreed
Horses in the Sky
Horses was shite, I am hoping this is better... tell Efrim to stop singing.
Seing them in London next month which should be cool
I didn't like horses at first
Mainly because I couldnt get past the first couple of minutes but it is easily the best thing they have done
i'm looking forward to the shows
v. much.
is this a jag?
nope
just really looking forward to seeing them again
the new album has

It came out on Monday
and it's making its debut on my stereo right now.

Sounds excellent on a first listen.
