and no you don't need any.
No one really makes virus'
(virui?) for the mac as OSX is reasonably secure and there are too few of them about for it to spread easily.
Yeah, own a macbook pro
and don't run AV software in OS X. I've got Windows installed on it too though, so got some on there. It's worth keeping your eyes open for any news about OSX any new virus that might appear though - there are proof of concept things that show that they could be created if anyone wanted.
