I mean, everyone enjoys stuff like Bad and Smooth Criminal, or at least feels some form of amused nostalgia. Personally, for example, the History compilation was my first album, I used to watch Moonwalker with my friends, and we all used to play his Megadrive game. Good times.
But I just assumed that a whole album of his would just be those big singles, plus filler. I didn't even consider for a moment that that would be the case. It was just obvious; that's just how the world works. But then I decided to buy Bad on a whim, after I saw it on vinyl in Virgin or "Zavvi" or whatever.
And my god, it's just brilliant all the way through. It has absolutely no right to be, but it is. It really is.
Its pretty awesome
I also thought that it'd just be singles and filler, but the whole album is really decent, which I dont feel is true of previous MJ albums as much as I like specific tracks from them. Dirty Diana in particular is fucking amazing.
Liberian Girl is really awful though.
I can't rember
what its all like Iuse to play my tape of this all the time as a kid though so it musta been good at the time.
The only
thing i know of this album are 2 songs (both good) and a doctored version of the cover where someone's super-imposed a young male facing into Jackson's crotch. It looks pretty funny and the capitals saying "BAD" beside it all the more entertaining.
"Man In The Mirror"
not BAD, just shite.
hell no
man in the mirror is awesome!!
*LIES*

I found this for a quid the other day at t'market and it's great.
I also found Weird Al Yankovic's 'Even Worse'
but declined to purchase it.
wise move
Have you heard that song of his
White & Nerdy, his 'amusing' take on that Chamillionaire song? There's an awful, awful part of me that finds it a little bit funny..I'm sorry.
That's okay, you can share
I once laughed at 'Weenie In A Bottle'.
Thank you
I feel now as though I can really..share
*Breaks down and weeps uncontrollably*
too right.
Great album. I heard it on the plane back home from my holidays last year in its entirety and brought a wave of nostalgia. I really love 'Another Part Of Me' in particular.

it stunning isnt it? I used to dance to this when i was litlle and have rediscovered it 24 years later and its still superb
The way he says 'part' in that song is really funny
